Orange County School of Martial Arts was established on Monday, March 19, 2007. Classes that day were held at California Elite Sports Center in Rancho Santa Margarita. The school was founded by Larry Gilliland, Sa Bom; Michael Torchia, Kyo Sa; and Matthew Torcia, 3rd Dan. Six students begain their training that day: Adam Gilliland, Abbie Douglas, Takoda Romero, Mekai Collins, Christopher Haugen & Nicholas Haugen.
